Thanks for stopping by, let us take a minute to tell you about how The Mac Pact was born. In late April 2013, we gave birth to twin girls eight weeks early. While our daughter, Cameron, was thriving; our other daughter Mackenzie was not. Doctors called her "floppy" and was on a ventilator and feeding tube. At four weeks old, our doctor told us Mac had Prader-Willi Syndome (PWS). Of course, like many of you reading this, we had no idea what PWS was. Our late night google searches proved to create a horrifying future for our sweet innocent Mac. It wasn't until we met some pretty amazing families and doctor that we realized Mac's future was full of promise and hope.
Our goal at The Mac Pact is to help families struggling with raising a child with PWS while continuing to raise awareness & fundraise for ONLY the most cutting edge research. We want the best for our children and without the continued support of this powerful community, we couldn't do it. We hope to hear from you!
